Useful Art is a repetition of Bruce Nauman’s gesture in Self-Portrait as a Fountain from 1966. Imitating Nauman by spitting out water, the artist was at the same time watering flowerbeds in Warsaw. This way she intended to create a valuable piece of art at the same time doing something useful.
