WEIRD RAIN

WEIRD RAIN
short film, 21’30”
2025

Dressed in a fox fur coat, carrying a bag from a global retail chain over her shoulder, and holding a water level gauge, the protagonist of Weird Rain wanders through the wetlands, delivering an endless monologue about melting glaciers, species extinction, acid rain, and dramatically rising temperatures. The woman is preoccupied with objects – she pulls them out of the mud, relocates them, arranges them among the bushes, imposing an order understood only by herself. She seems to be related to everything living around her, practicing the kind of cohabitation, coevolution, and embodied interspecies solidarity described by Donna Haraway.
